| Estimating Services (Owner & Contractor) |
| Our cost control services can begin by confirming your preliminary project budget, and continue throughout the project providing construction budget assurances. Preliminary Budget Estimates: these estimates are prepared quickly with minimal information (usually verbal descriptions and rough sketches). Detail Estimates: these estimates are comprehensive, based upon a quantitative survey and associated unit pricing. Value Engineering: when the Owner (or Contractor) finds it necessary to reduce the cost of the project, we can provide for a review of building systems to include alternate materials selections or revised construction procedures to reduce construction costs without sacrificing the integrity of the project. Pre-Construction Services: this service allows us to represent either the Owner or Contractor when evaluating all bids and determining the most responsive bidder. |

| Scheduling Services (Owner & Contractor) |
| The most important reason for developing and maintaining a schedule is to properly manage the work. Additional benefits include improved communications between the Contractor and Subcontractors, Owner and A/E for scheduling work and responding in a timely manner. The Construction Schedule is an important tool for indicating progress and critical activities. Additionally, the schedule provides a means to track the material submittal requirements, allowing for adequate C/A/E/O review to ensure material delivery and installation schedule. When it comes time to review progress payment requests, a well developed schedule can be used to verify actual completed work through the pay period. Studying variations can determine potential inadequacies or delays in the work. |
