On-Line Collaberation
Wesley Construction Company participates in on-line collaboration with parties associated with a project. This proactive collaboration consists normally of active Logs and Schedules associated with the project whereby parties can review each Project's current status.
Update: June 4, 2004 – Discontinuation of On-Line (e project) Collaboration Services
We have completed and closed out all projects maintained and associated with our on-line collaboration account. In our opinion, this service is no longer necessary due to the common availability of high-speed Internet and reduced file sizes normally associated with this service.
Currently, we maintain and transmit documents in .pdf format. This format is easily accessed with programs normally associated with, or freely available on the Internet. Adobe Acrobat Reader is just one of the programs available for this use. Under certain conditions, we may maintain files on-line in a password protected account for use by clients. We have found the ease or use and availability of the on-line briefcase services offered by Yahoo more than accommodating for this function. Please don't underestimate the level of service offered by this briefcase function.
Wesley Construction Company considers itself one of the early pioneers amongst construction companies to offer this (on-line collaborative) service and regrets any inconvenience this may cause to our past clients.
On Line File Storage for Yahoo Briefcase users and clients
A link and password is provided via email which allows access to your folder(s) based upon the parameters you specify. Varying levels of folder & file transfer access may be accommodated via password protection based upon your needs. Typically, directly accessing Wesley Construction Company's main folder without the provided link and password results in viewing only public folders.
